Women dance themselves sacred
beneath a blood moon,
twirling to reveal
ragged edges of secrets
whispering from waves.
Cascading skirts mesmerize
beneath serpentine arms.
sporadic caws, hoots, and howls.

Chimpanzees pant-hoot.
First, love the new banner…I have a thing for rapids, waterfalls of any kind. Second I reread your poem three or four times, it tasted that good on my tongue. I love the image of women dancing themselves sacred beneath a blood moon and the secrets. This immediately transported me into another world. I wanted to stay there,
