Opposite the Gloaming

Luna lowers her full-face glow
beneath morning’s west horizon
as Daystar covers his counterpoints
in clear bright breath.

    • Thanks Sabra, it was beautiful, and these words don’t do it justice. Morning is definitely my favorite time of day, and gloaming is a favorite word (I just searched it , and it shows up in six of my poems here). I like the idea of dawn being opposite the gloaming.
